Intro to Wheel Class, Tues & Thurs, 10 am-1pm

This class is for students who are new to clay and to Mudflat! Students will learn basic skills at the potter's wheel for creating functional work. Demonstrations will cover wedging, centering, and forming shapes such as vases, mugs, bowls and plates. You will also learn basic glazing and decorating techniques. This class will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10 am and 1 pm. This August semester comes with access to lab hours to work outside of your scheduled class time,  as well as your first 25 lb bag of clay, and clay tools are provided. Join us this summer at Mudflat!
