Kids Class Options

Kids Handbuilding

For ages 5-8, kids learn the basics of handbuilding with clay to create a new projects each class with a Mudflat instructor

Thursdays, 4-6 pm

Fall 2026 Kids Classes

For the Fall Semester, Mudflat will be offering two 6-week session of classes.

Registration for the Fall kids classes will begin on July 16th at 10 am ( on this page)

Session 1: September 17 - October 24, 2026

Kids Handbuilding ages 5-7, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Kids Wheelthrowing, ages 8-12, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Teen Wheel, ages 13+, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Kids Wheelthrowing, Ages 8-12, Saturdays, 2-4 pm

Session 2: October 29- December 12

(No Class Nov 26 & 28)

Kids Handbuilding ages 5-7, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Kids Wheelthrowing, ages 8-12, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Teen Wheel, ages 13+, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Kids Wheelthrowing, Ages 8-12, Saturdays, 2-4 pm

Tuition:

$280 per 6-week session
All materials are included.
Financial Aid is available for kids classes- learn more about Financial Aid here
Kids & Teen classes do not include open lab hours.

*Please note: Mudflat does not offer summer kids or teen classes
