Kids Handbuilding

Ages 5-7

Kids get hands-on with clay — pinching, rolling, and building a brand-new creation every class

Thursdays, 4–6 pm

Kids
Wheel

Ages 8-12

Students get hands-on at the pottery wheel, learning to throw and glaze or build upon skills

Thursdays, 4–6 pm

&

Saturdays, 2–4 pm

Teen
Clay

Ages 13 +

Beginners will learn the potter's wheel, plus how to decorate and glaze their pottery while students with experience will dive deeper into wheel techniques

Fall 2026 Kids Class Schedule

For the Fall Semester, Mudflat will be offering two 6-week session of classes.

Session 1: September 17 - October 24, 2026

Kids Handbuilding ages 5-7, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Kids Wheelthrowing, ages 8-12, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Teen Wheel, ages 13+, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Kids Wheelthrowing, Ages 8-12, Saturdays, 2-4 pm

Session 2: October 29- December 12

(No Class Nov 26 & 28)

Kids Handbuilding ages 5-7, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Kids Wheelthrowing, ages 8-12, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Teen Wheel, ages 13+, Thursdays, 4-6 pm
Kids Wheelthrowing, Ages 8-12, Saturdays, 2-4 pm

Tuition:

$280 per 6-week session
All materials are included.
Financial Aid is available for kids classes- learn more about Financial Aid here
Kids & Teen classes do not include open lab hours.
