About the Event
This class is for students who are new to clay and to Mudflat! In this class, students will learn the basics of handbuilding including, pinching, coiling, and using slabs to build forms such as bowls, cups, plates and more! This relaxing way of working with clay is a great way to take a break from your daily routine. Additionally, you'll learn basic glazing and decorating techniques. This class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, twice a week for 3 weeks from August 6-22 .You'll have access to lab hours to work outside of class time and your first 25 lb bag of clay and clay tools are provided.
