Getting to Mudflat

Mudflat Studio is located at 81 Broadway in East Somerville, between McGrath Highway and Sullivan Station.

We encourage everyone to take public transportation, bike or carpool to Mudflat.

By T, Subway and Bus: A 5 minute walk from Sullivan Station on the Orange Line or take Bus 89 or 90. From Harvard Square, take Bus 86 to Sullivan. From Central Square, take Bus 91 to Sullivan. From Davis Square, take Bus 90 to Sullivan.

By bike: We will soon have a new bike rack in front of our new building, but there are small racks already in place along Broadway.

By carpool: Check the "ride share" information board in our lounge area, or contact the Mudflat office to be listed in our resource program matching drivers and riders.

By car: Take Rt. 93N to Somerville exit #29, then take Rt. 28 one block south to Broadway, and turn left for 7 blocks. From Rt. 93S, exit #28, turn right at end of ramp, then right onto Broadway and go 1/4 mile west. Or take McGrath Hwy. (Rt. 28) north past the Museum of Science to Broadway, then turn right for 7 blocks.

Parking: Parking at Mudflat is on-street along Broadway at parking meters. Meters are active from 8 am – 8 pm, Monday through Saturday, $.25 per 15 minutes. Free parking is also available at the Stop & Shop parking lot, located at the end of Garfield Ave., off Broadway.
