Salt Firing at Cedar Mountain Pottery

David salting the kiln Experience another firing option for your work. David Orser will lead this workshop at his studio, Cedar Mountain Pottery, in Parsonsfield, Maine. Upon registration, participants will get materials and instructions for making pots for the firing. At the weekend workshop we will glaze and load our work and help with firing and salting the kiln. There will be a scheduled meeting after the firing to critique the results.

Tuition: $250.00, includes materials and firings, and instruction at meetings and weekend workshop. Mudflat will provide beverages, snacks and lunch on Sunday. Tuition fee does not include transportation to/from Maine, or accommodations for Saturday evening. Lodging suggestions will be available to participants. Participants should bring food for a potluck dinner Saturday evening.
