Kids Summer Clay Classes at Mudflat

Children ages 5 to 11 and teens ages 12 and up can join us for clay classes this summer.

Mudflat offers 2 sessions each summer in July and August. Classes meet twice each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3 weeks - a total of 6 classes. Choose a morning or afternoon section; each is 2 hours long.

Tuition: $150/section, includes all materials and firings

Kids Clay, Ages 5 - 11

Learn how to handbuild with slabs and coils and how to work with clay on the potter's wheel.

Session 1:
July 8 - 24, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Section A: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Section B: 1:00 - 3:00 pm
Session 2:
August 5 - 21, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Section C: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Section D: 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Teen Clay, Ages 12+

Wheelthrowing for teen students, beginning through advanced.
Session 1:
July 8 - 24, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Section E: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Session 2:
August 5 - 21, Tuesdays and Thursdays
